They Are Ripe for the Harvest!

My sisters and brothers I cannot begin to tell you how much God is ministering to my spirit from these verses. Not just today but for quite some time He has been speaking to me about this great harvest time. And let me add, this is not just a word for me as an individual, although I am taking it very personally.  However, it's a word, a time and season for everyone who is a blood bought believer in Christ to go out into the fields and harvest!

It’s being said that Ponchatoula, LA (the strawberry capital of the world) had the greatest crop of strawberries that they had seen in years.  But because of this pandemic it hasn’t been as rewarding or beneficial as it should have been and as was expected.  We cannot allow this to happen with the harvest of souls that’s available and ripe for the kingdom of God.  Don’t wait for the ‘church’, your pastors, evangelist or anyone else to do it, because, as we are being reminded daily, we are the church.  God is calling each of us into the fields because the harvest is ripe! We must each do our part to bring souls into the kingdom.  This is not a time for shyness or intimidation.  Step up boldly and ask those that God will lay on your heart, "Do you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior?" Don't accept, 'well I go to church' or ' I got baptized.' And even when they tell you that they believe, remember the demons in hell believe and tremble.  Do your part and accept your responsibility as a Christian to lead them in the sinners prayer, confessing that they believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God. Help them to ask for forgiveness for their sins and ask Jesus to come into their hearts and be their Lord and Savior! But it doesn't end there.  Be sure that they become established in a solid Bible believing, gospel teaching, Holy Ghost filled church that's on a solid foundation.

As I've shared through the years from John 21, Jesus told this disciple, although Jesus already had fish baking on the coals, to bring some of the fish that he had caught.  John and the other disciples who had gone back to fishing had brought in 153 fish.  I believe that when we enter into the kingdom of God, even with all of the souls that will be there, God will ask each of us for the ones that we have caught. I believe the question will be 'how many souls have you brought in?' Will you be able to say 100 or 50 or even 3? Don’t let this harvest end without you having gone into the fields to reap. This is a harvest time of souls such as we as Christians haven’t seen in years and possibly won’t see in our life times ever again.  Matthew 9 says “pray to the Lord of the harvest that He would send forth laborers.” We are those laborers and God is sending us out to reap the harvest of souls. As Jesus said in John 4:35 I tell you open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for the harvest!  It wasn’t a suggestion or given as an option, it was a command so now lets do it.  Let’s open our eyes, look and see what needs to be seen and then do what needs to be done
