New Territories for 2020

Dec. 13, 2019

In the coming year of 2020 God is giving to some new territories and expanding them for others. These territories could be literal, spiritual or even political. In a dream God gave me, both my pastors, her parents and I moved to Boston.  After viewing the house, that I definitely did not like, we went into the backyard where I saw cages. Some were plexiglass and others were of chicken wire but all of them were closed or sealed. There was one open basket that I nearly bumped into and in all of them were snakes.  God is saying with these new and expanded territories that we are entering into we will not have to fight the battles that we’ve had to fight in the past. The enemy is being suppressed and held back! He has finally been contained! He will not be able to strike at us as he had once been able to. As for the snake in the basket that I saw, God is saying don’t disturb or awaken what's dormant.  Don't start a fight where none is necessary. Understand that, whereas the enemy is not dead, there’s nothing stopping us from taking the spiritual territories that God has allotted us. There’s nothing to stop us from entering in and enjoying it.  Don’t be moved by what you see or think, just go in and possess what’s being given to you. The battles for your promised lands have been won!

Remember, the Israelites were not allotted their territories until after the wars were over and they had won the battles (II Chronicles 14:7). These were lands of peace. Too many have become so accustomed to fighting warfare that they don’t recognize their times of peace. For some it’s like a spiritual PTSD. There are things that occur that will immediately put them into fight mode.  Everything is not a spiritual warfare and every battle is not a full scale war. Learn to live in peace in the places that God has given you to possess. When we fight battles that are not ordained of God we hurt and wound people that are not our enemies. Don't adhere to the addage that says "Either you're going into a battle or you're just coming out of one." That's not scriptual! Some have been truly traumatized by past battles, but in your new territories, you’ve won and you don’t have to keep fighting every day!

There will also be those that will lose their allotted territories (Deuteronomy 9:4-6) There were others that occupied your territories before you but because of their sin and disobedience it's been taken from them. God told Israel they weren't receiving the lands because they had been so good but because those that were there before them had been so sinful. For those that are entering into new territories and having territories expanced, always remember, it’s not because we deserve it, earned it or have a right to it.  If we go in and do as those before us we too will lose what has been given to us.

There’s a purpose for our territories. (Mark 12 1-4, 9) God is saying that these spiritual territories are not being given to us just to sit back, enjoy and occupy.  We are to go in to cultivate, produce and develop them. We are to develop these new places in order to give the owner what’s His when He returns or they will be taken from us as well. Along with these territories comes the Great Commission (Mark 16:15-18), winning souls and  doing works for the kingdom of God. These lands are not for bragging rights or egos, it's not about us as individuals but all to the glory of God!

(Mark 12:9 I Kings 22:3) I'm truly hearing God say that this year, 2020, ministries will be destroyed and territories lost because of sin, disobedience and because of those that are not producing and returning to Him what's His  II Kings 10:32 In those days the Lord began to reduce the size of Israel. For those that have lost territories, if you've lost ground, ministries, territories and favor because of sin, disobedience or a lack of produce, don’t try to take them back without repentance and hearing God. Each time Israel attempted to take back lands that God had taken from them because of their disobedience, they were either killed or nearly killed. (II Kings 22:33-34) SELAH!

Go in and possess your territories in peace and prosperity! God bless each and everyone of you! Have a Merry, Merry Christmas as well as a Blessed, Healthy and Prosperous New Year!!!

"II Chronicles 14:7 Amplified Therefore he said to Judah, Let us build these cities and surround them with walls, towers, gates, and bars. The land is still ours, because we sought the Lord our God; we have sought Him [yearning for Him with all our desire] and He has given us rest and peace on every side. So they built and prospered.

II Kings 10:32 In those days the Lord began to reduce the size of Israel. Hazael overpowered the Israelites throughout their territory 33 east of the Jordan in all the land of Gilead (the region of Gad, Reuben and Manasseh), from Aroer by the Arnon Gorge through Gilead to Bashan.

Deuteronomy 9:4-6 But when God pushes them out ahead of you, don’t start thinking to yourselves, “It’s because of all the good I’ve done that God has brought me in here to dispossess these nations.” Actually it’s because of all the evil these nations have done. No, it’s nothing good that you’ve done, no record for decency that you’ve built up, that got you here; it’s because of the vile wickedness of these nations that God, your God, is dispossessing them before you so that he can keep his promised word to your ancestors, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
6-Know this and don’t ever forget it: It’s not because of any good that you’ve done that God is giving you this good land to own. Anything but! You’re stubborn as mules.
